Apple invest in Toshiba for LCD panel

Nikkei business daily said,  Toshiba Corp will spent 100 billion Yen to build a factory for small LCD panel to supply Apple iPhones.
The company’s wholly owned unit, Toshiba Mobile Display Co, will construct the facility in Ishikawa prefecture and the plant will churn out low-temperature polysilicon LCD panels, which allow for high-resolution images, the paper said.
Work on the plant will start by early next year, with the production due to begin in the second half of 2011, Nikkei said.

Nokia E7 slider might be delayed to early 2011

Words from internal source from Nokia confirm that the phone will be delayed until early 2011. The phone supposed to hit the market in December 2010 but due to the ‘minor durability issue’ on the hardware, Nokia have to hold the production. E7 slider is identical with N8 but it featuring a full QWERTY keyboard. Perfect for SMS and email.
Seem this time no Nokia E7 slider for the Christmas gift.

Google Nexus S is available now

Nexus S is a collaboration between Google and Samsung to bring Android phone to user. Nexus S is based on Samsung Galaxy S. The phone installed with the latest official Android OS which is Android 2.3(codename Gingerbread). The phone powered by 1Ghz Hummingbird  processor and 16GB memory. Google claimed it is the fastest phone on the market.

Samsung is number 1 Android market in US

According to Gartner(third party research firm), Samsung Mobile captured 32.1 percent of the U.S. Android smartphone market in Q3 2010 based on retail sales, an increase from 9.2 percent of the Android smartphone market in Q4 2009. The most successful model is Samsung Galaxy S which is currently surpassed the 3 million shipment currently available with AT&T, Sprint,T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless, along with U.S. Cellular and Cellular South.

Nokia Nseries prototype C caught on Ebay

The device is labeled as N00 because it is a prototype that is not yet in production. If you think it is a hoax, someone was put it on ebay.
The seller claim it could be N87 and sell for $799.99. The phone seem equipped with 12MP camera a Xenon flash. No more details about this phone yet.

Samsung Galaxy S accepted globally with 5 million sales

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a leader in mobile technology, today announced plans to launch its GALAXY S smartphone and GALAXY Tab smart media device in Japan.
